Completed!!! Copperplate in brush pen for the writing. Castle based off of Boldt Castle in NY, background and girl out of my head, and sky is from photograph. The painting was done in watercolor pencil and the girl touched up in colored pencil with hard accents done in pen and ink. The poem is based on how we build barriers to the outside world and sometimes we run into someone who persists in getting to know us. Aren't those the folks in our lives me put a special place in our lives and history?
